What job/study are you doing right now and tell us a little about it?
I'm a specialist musculoskeletal physiotherapist employed by the NHS and still live in St.Helens
Did you do any further/higher education?
After st Cuthberts I attended Carmel College for A levels, then Wigan college for a diploma in sports therapy, followed by my 1st degree at salford university in BSc(home) sports rehabilitation graduated in 2000. Actually lectured part time back at Wigan college in sports therapy and then decided to do my second degree at Brunel University in London gained 1st class Hons degree in Physiotherapy. Started employment for the NHS in 2004 and that's where I have remained. Whilst working full time I also gained a Masters PGDip In musculoskeletal physiotherapy from Manchester Metropolitan University ... still continuing to study post grad courses and due to commence UCLAN in 2017 in another post grad course xx
How did you decide on your career path and what is/was most interesting about your work?
I decided that I wanted to be a physiotherapist around the age of 18... at that time you was discouraged to do this by career advisors as it was a very popular course to gain entry into university !!! I was never one to be told I couldn't do something... so after gaining the sports rehab degree to be able to gain chartered status and work for the NHS I decided to do another degree and do the BSc(hons) Physiotherapy degree at a fantastic university in London !!!
Can you share a couple of fond memories of your time at St Cuthbert's?

I loved school discos dinner time and Monday nights !! The tuck shop, being in walsingham house and playing netball and hockey !!!! Best years of your life ... you just don't realise it at the time !!!
